Saya baru join forum ni.saya berasal dari sabah.
Baru dapat email tadi dari QP for telephone interview hari khamis ni. berdebar2 jantung, nerves.

Harap senior2 sini boleh la tunjuk ajar or bagi tips sikit.

Pengalaman kerja 9 tahun, post yang nak kena interview system engineer post ICT dept.
sebelum ni keja ngan schlumberger buat information management.

baru saja habis interview. I think i answered most of the questions, good or not I dont know. I just make a shot.
Agak kelam kabut skit because ingatkan jam 2ptg malaysia time, rupanya awal sejam. Baru habis lunch terus got the call. Macam ada hiccup jugak skit.. but hopefully they like are okay with my answer lah.

question memang purely technical and experience background. sya cakap berdasarkan pengalamn kerja saja. if you really dont know, then just admint. tu je..

agak2 brapa lama dapat tau result dia aa?

Kalau u apply thru AP then u can ask them. Kalau u Ada email address hiring team, maybe u boleh email few days later. No worries. U Akan dpt. U work with schlumberger. Kalau u tak jawab dgn betul pun, diaorg mesti amik u.

Good to hear that. Normally, QP would invite for an on-site interview if one is found suitable to join them. Response time ......... subjective. Ada cepat ada lambat.

During the on-site interview, they would also discuss about the package and perform medical test for the candidate.

Phone interview done. Looks okay to me, very technical. Hope that I am the one that they are seeking..and fit for the position.

Interview was on the 5th March, so dah 2 minggu dah.
But so far, no news yet. Should i email them or just wait? read somewhere, probably take 6-8 weeks to wait for 2nd interview invitation!

Lepas ni kalau dapat go thru, sepatutnya ada onsite interview right?

Huh? 2nd interview? Is it with HR? I think you can call AP recruitment if job application is done via them. At least they can give some hints.

based on what i read..most people will get the invitation for 2nd interview onsite then med check etc..
some will get offer just after the first interview, must be very outstanding..

my application is not via AP but via michealpage. i've contacted them but no reply so far. i think i should just wait for now. hoping some good news in the next few weeks.

yes you need to do a follow up regularly with the headhunter. HR process, for successful applicants, takes very long time.

but it is interesting to know that they can conduct 2nd interview at on-site. i assume lodging & flight are all arranged by QP.

Hari tu I got QP offer.. n passed the interview.. Until today, I still didn't get any call for departuring to Qatar..

Dah lama gak nie..
Cuma baru minggu ni aku dapat claim medical check-up...

Offer tu daripada bulan satu hingga kini..

So, my question is, Qatar ambik orang bergantung kepada kekosongan ke?

but what ever happens, don't resign, until QP hantar offer letter.

Bukan apa, tapi risau gak sebab interview bulan doblas, medic check-up and all related document (such as sijil kelakuan baik, dan pengesahan dll..) dah hantor ke AP sekitar minggu pertama bulan dua...

Last week, claim utk medic cost dah dapat..
ADa gak tanya AP tapi diorang nyatakan tunggu panggilan QP...
Agak risau sebab takde panggilan lagi..
Adakah political instability di MENA (Mid East - North Africa) menyumbang kepada kelambatan proses nie bro?

p/s: BTW, aku dapat tawaran kuli je.. Gen. Operator kat Transmission & Distribution Dept.

mmg kat sini budaya lembab dan sengal derang nie...

but sometime, ada gaks sebab2 diluar jangkaan...

cam QP sblm ambik org... kena deal ngan pihak imigeren dulu... kira nyer... macam2 la hal2 sengal yang akan berlaku.

so dun worry... jgn dok pikir sgt... nnt sakit, susah lak.. hehehe.
