Ezdan may list Islamic REIT in Malaysia

Qatar-listed property group Ezdan may list an Islamic real estate investment trust (REIT) on the Malaysian stock exchange, a Malaysian newspaper reported on Saturday.
Citing unidentified sources, the Edge Weekly said Ezdan, valued at about $3.95 billion, is finalising its proposal for the REIT to be submitted to Malaysia's Securities Commission.
The Malaysian newspaper said the planned investment trust is expected to be made up of Qatar-based assets. Officials from Ezdan were not immediately available for comment.-Reuters
