DUBAI, June 16 (Reuters) - Qatar announced on Tuesday two cases of the H1N1 flu virus in two foreign children who arrived from the United States and Austria, the first cases in the small Gulf Arab country.
The two boys showed flu symptoms on arrival, were given treatment and were recovering, Health Minister Abdullah al-Qahtani said in comments on state-run Qatar News Agency.
The first case was a two-year-old boy from New Zealand who arrived on Saturday with his family from Austria and the second was a two-and-a-half-year old American boy who came from New York on Sunday via Bangladesh, the minister said.
Flu cases have been detected in four other Gulf Arab states -- Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait and Bahrain.

Today, Qatar had recorded 10 cases while Malaysia, 50 cases. Fuh .... before the best medication is found, it seems like we have no choice but to face this scary virus. Anyway, I & family is returning to Msia, this weekend .... terfikirkan wajah tersayang di sana .... mengatasi risau pasal H1N1 ni. Cuma kena lebih berhati-hati.
