Merancang Kelahiran Empty Merancang Kelahiran

Post by Wira 2009-10-19, 08:22

Assalamualaikum wahai pemukim-pemukim Qatar.

InsyaAllah, seawal 5:30Am local time, 1 Nov 2009 nanti, saya akan menjejakkan kaki ke bumi Doha. Direncanakan Allah untuk berkhidmat dengan QP as a Operation Engineer.

Wira....
kena plan betul2 ni...bagus jugak buat planning mcm ni (pls read below)...but i think if u choose Qatar Airways better than Air Asia... Very Happy

Lifetime free flights for baby born on plane

KUALA LUMPUR (AFP) – A baby boy who made a surprise arrival on board an AirAsia flight this week will be given free flights for life with the budget carrier, as will his mother, the airline said Friday.
AirAsia said 31-year-old passenger Liew Siaw Hsia went into labour on Wednesday's flight from the northern island of Penang to Kuching on Borneo island.
The aircraft made an emergency diversion to the Malaysian capital but the baby arrived just before landing, delivered by a doctor who was on board and who was assisted by the airline's flight attendants.
"The baby was safely delivered when flight AK 6506 was approaching Kuala Lumpur for landing at 2,000 feet," the airline said in a statement, adding that mother and baby were taken to a nearby hospital following touchdown.
"To celebrate this momentous occasion, we decided to present both mother and child with free flights for life," said AirAsia's director of operations Moses Devanayagam after visiting them in hospital.

I believe the quality is at par with Malaysia. The main difference for me is that kalau melahirkan kat Qatar, my company tanggung the bill. Tapi kalau melahirkan kat Malaysia, keluar poket sendiri lar...

The only set-back in Qatar is that they have no cord blood bank facility yet(e.g. StemLife, CyroCord etc kat mesia). Virgin Health will only offer service in 2011. Hospital Al Ahli ada offer services tapi storage is in Dubai and the price costs 3x more than in mesia.

Of course if you're not planning to save your baby's cord blood, then this will not be your concern at all.

Anyway, baby bila due.??

Terima kasih kepada semua..

InsyaAllah kelahiran dijangkakan pertengahan Mei 2010.

Satu lagi persoalan saya, seingat sahabat semua, masa kandungan keberapa bulankah si ibu dilarang menaiki pesawat? Bimbang jugak berlaku kes AirAsia tu..hehe

Biasanya..kalau isteri berbadan dua...1-2 bulan masih sihat lagi untuk naik kapal terbang..tapi kalau 6 bulan atas..rasanya ..not advisable...kalau nak further info...call Malaysia Airlines or travel agents ...tanya depa guidelines untuk pregnant women.

Wira,

Just to support what Wak said.

Perhaps your kindself can also refer to the following short article (refer to www.babycenter.com for more) :

Reviewed by Aaron Deutsch, M.D., August 2006
If you have a normal, healthy pregnancy, it can be perfectly safe to fly during most of it. Discuss your trip plans with your doctor or midwife, however, before booking your flight. In certain high-risk cases, your healthcare provider may advise you to stay close to home throughout your pregnancy.

You may find that your second trimester — weeks 14 to 27 — is a perfect time to fly. Once you're past the first trimester, in all likelihood your morning sickness will be behind you, your energy levels will be higher, and your chances of miscarriage will be low. However, you shouldn't travel after 36 weeks.

Before you leave, have your prenatal caregiver refer you to an obstetrician or midwife at your destination in case you need medical attention during your vacation. If you'll be traveling during your second or third trimester, it's a good idea to carry a copy of your prenatal chart. The chart should include your age, the date of your last menstrual period, your due date, the number and outcomes of any prior pregnancies, your risk factors for disease, pregnancy-related lab tests and ultrasounds, medical and surgical history, and a flow sheet of vital signs taken at each visit.

Hope the above helps.

Salam,
Chian Very Happy

Baby born on plane named after AirAsia

SEPANG: The baby boy, who created national headlines when he was born on an AirAsia plane, has been named Asia Liew Ya Hang.

His mother Liew Siaw Hsia said the Chinese name ‘Ya Hang’ means ‘AirAsia’ in Mandarin.

“It’s the best name I can give my son who was the first baby born on the airline’s plane,” she said in a statement yesterday.

The mother and baby are currently at the Putrajaya Hospital.

Asia Liew Ya Hang was safely delivered on board Flight AK 6506 on Oct 21 when the aircraft was about 800m in the air.

The flight from Penang to Kuching was diverted to the low-cost carrier terminal here when Liew went into premature labour.

The airline has presented Liew and the baby free flight tickets for life to celebrate the birth.
