Technical Site Interview with QP (nasihat diperlukan)

Salam satu Malaysia kawan2 semua,

Saya nak minta pandangan & nasihat dari semua. Alhamdullillah jumpa forum ini. Saya baru lepas telephone interview last week, lepas 2 hari dpt email utk datang site interview 20th Feb nie.

Dapat tuan2 semua bantu saya berkenaan soalan2 berikut. Untuk makluman saya dlm bidang finance( ACCA mcm tu dlm lebih 10 tahun pengalaman (tp bukan O&GCo.).

1. QP dah siap bagi package Grade 14 mcm tu & basic pay - ok ke level tu? salary mcm mana yg reasonable kalau tuan2 boleh nasihat sbb saya tak tahu langsung market price utk nak nego.

2. Benefits:
a.Housing -monthly
b.Transportation-montly
c.Health and Medical including kids - ada limit ke?
d.Education and Schools - macam mana QP benchmark international school ada limit ke?, saya dah 3 org anak, baru sorang masuk sekolah rendah.
e.furniture allowance- not sure whether one off per je

3. Spouse assistance scheme - ada tak program yg bagi peluang untuk bawa spouse kalau spouse memang dlm O&G industry ( currently my wife working with one O&G Co in cyberjaya sbagai SAP consultant). Mungkin kalau ada kawan2 yg ada pengalaman bole share.tkasih.

4. fly back ticket - ada sorang kawan Indon. dkt RasGas inform yg package termasuk ticket balik M'sia on yearly basis, dpt kawan2 yg keja dkt QP confirmkan yg ini.

5. Kalau ada tips untuk site interview, dapatla nasihat sikit saya what to expect for full 2 days session.

2 hari ye temuduga...kat Doha...1 hari je temuduga tu...1 hari lagi nanti depa arrane buat medical check-up kot....

Anyway macam Rizi kata ...topi ni banyak dan hangat sekali di bincang akan...so search history....

Saya pernah pi temuduga associate company pada QP ( Qatalum - QP & Hydro JV)....mula mula temuduga telephone untuk Maint Manager - Power Plant..... panggil gak site interview...sampai sampai depa dah hired one Australian jadi Maintenance Manager...yang hangat tu depa interview saya position...Senior E/I Engineer.... 2nd day depa arrange pi medical kat QP Medical Center... semua OK.... tapi alhamdulillah depa tak offer pun kat saya.... kalau offer pun pasti tolak....

Jawapan untuk soalan U :

1. Gaji Gred 14 - Wak tahu tahu nak komen..sbb Wak kerja ngan QG...mungkin salary ni OK la...Hopes U apply for Family Status, not a single staus.

2. Benefits - standard untuk semua employee...schooling for children..QP will take care.

3. Your spouse will get a job in Doha once dia dah ada Resident Permit.

4. Airline Ticket - QP will pay once allowance for yearly ticket for the entire family. You will get 32 days work day leaves. So cuti balik Malaysia dalam 1 bulan 2 minggu setahun.

5. Tips untuk interview...dress smart, don't overdress, jangan pakai kot, kemeja & tie is enough. Soalan, very basic info.

Annual leave for QP is 37 days. There's a typo error by Wak I guess.

For wife, I strongly suggest for her to start applying from now. Who knows ...... she might also get a direct sponsorship. Both of you may enjoy housing allowance (rather than just you). Furthermore, I tend to feel that local hire would get a lower offer as compared to if the prospective employer to her you from directly outside of Qatar.

tapi chances utk wife n husband both dapat offer dari luar... sangat2 lah tipis...
tapi kat sini peluang utk wife dapat keje is good... dengan syarat,... tak memilih...
setakat yang Rizi dok perhati... wife under hubby sponsor tak ramai dapat position yang tinggi(Mgr or Head)\
mungkin sebab 1st... Lady.. and 2nd Kulit tak bleach...
so...majority wife akan ambik clerical as choice of work... tapi gaji masyuk gaks... 5-8k lah jugak...
jgn risau... rezeki sini banyak... cuma perlu sabar n sentiasa berdoa...

There are few openings for SAP related works at QP. You/ your wife may want to check at http://domino1.qgpc.net/qp.nsf/jobs?openview&Start=1&Count=100&Expand=21 .

From internal source, I got to know that 100 over new IT positions (including SAP related) have been approved recently. Soon, HR will post them on the QP's website.

QG leaves is 32 days per year. QP get extra 5 days.

From what I know, normally for married woman she will be offered a job under her husband sponsorship. In other words, hubby kena datang dulu, dah dapat RP then wife can start to proceed with the formalities to get hired (not necessarily start cari kerja). One good thing about this is the wife is not subjected to NOC from the company she works kalau nak tukar kerja.

Dalam byk2 working couple, belum lagi come across where they are on separate sponsorships. Anyone nak share?

My wife is in FICO support. After financial crisis still ada good demand for FICO consultant dkt GCC states ka?

Rizi ambik cuti kawin (10 hari tahun lepas), campur skali ngan carry forward leave tahun lps gaks...
