MAQ MERDEKA Bowling Tournament 2009

Salam to All,

Bowling has become one of the ‘SUKAN TERAS PRESTASI TINGGI’ by the Majlis Sukan Negara Malaysia -MSN since 5 years back, along side with 7 (initially) other sports (now 19) such as Aquatic, Athletic, Badminton, Gymnastic, Hockey, Squash and Soccer. This means that BOWLING is one of the sports that can contribute to the mental and personal development.


For the same objectives, MAQ is proud to be organising our Yearly MAQ Bowling Tournament as below:

Day and Date : Friday, 30th October 2009
Time : 5.30pm
Venue : Qatar Bowling Center (QBC)
Tournament Fees :
QAR10 -Men/Ladies Category
QAR5 - Youth Category


Closing date for registration: Wednesday, 28 October 2009


Open to all Active MAQ members and on pre-registration basis.
No Walk In Participation except for New Members.


Format: 2 Games Series
Prizes (Categories):
A. Men, Ladies, Youth-Boy, Youth-Girl (Youth<18 YRS)
B. 1st, 2nd and 3rd Place
C. Only The Top High Series will bring home 'The Challenge Trophy'.



Rules and Ethics for Bowlers:


1. Proper attire - No Shorts and short Sleeves
2. No Shouting while others bowling.
3. Do not get on approach while your left or right bowlers on the approach ready to bowl for safety reason.
4. No eating and drinking in bowlers area.
5. Please abide to the Center Rules and Regulations.

Please note that No Outside Food is allowed and no Shorts is allowed for bowlers.
