Tafseer Class at Al Fanar every friday after Maghrib

Just to convey the message and can pass around to others.
InsyaAllah, Dr Bilall Phillips will begin his tafseer class at the Al Fanar masjid on 1st floor for men and 2nd floor for ladies every Friday immediately after maghrib and finish by Isya' insyaAllah.



"And remind, for verily, the reminding benefits the believers".
[soorah Adh-Dhariyaat, v:55]

Allaah subhanahu wa ta'3aala said in Qur'aan:
"(This is) a Book (the Qur'aan) which We have sent down to you, full of blessings that they may ponder over its Verses, and that men of understanding may remember".
[soorah Saad, v:29]

Also Allaah said:
"Verily, therein is indeed a reminder for him who has a heart or gives ear while he is heedful."
[soorah Qaf, v:37]

& the prophet sallallaahu alayhi wassallam said:
"Those persons who assemble in the house among the houses of Allah (mosques) and recite the Book of Allah & they learn and teach the Qur'an (among themselves) there would descend upon them the tranquillity and mercy would cover them and the angels would surround them and Allah makes a mention of them in the presence of those near Him..."
[Sahih Muslim, Hadith 6518]

Don't we want to be amongst those, whom Allaah mention to His angels and learn to increase knowledge, increase our love to Allah, Quran and Rasulullah s.a.w?
